NYSED Approved Coursework for Autism: (No spaces available; class is filled.) This three-hour training program has been developed in accordance with the NYS Education Department’s Autism Syllabus. This course is required for all persons applying for a teaching certificate or license on or after 2/2/07 as a special education teacher or as a school administrator who works in special education. However, this course is open to all who are interested in a general overview of autism within the educational process. |
